Windows End of Support Calendar

End of extended support refers to the date when Microsoft no longer provides automatic fixes, updates, or online technical assistance. Without Microsoft support, you will no longer receive security updates that can help protect your PC from harmful viruses, spyware, and other malicious software that can steal your personal information.

Includes all programs within this version of Microsoft Office, but the security problems apply in particular to software that receives information from the Internet: Outlook, OneNote.

Mainstream support for this version of Office ended October 13th, 2020.

End of extended support refers to the date when Microsoft no longer provides automatic fixes, updates, or online technical assistance.

For Office 365 subscribers, Office could be used on Windows 7 until January 2020, with the exception of OneNote 2016, which is supported to October 2020 for mainstream support and October 2025 for extended support.

End of Extended Support means the end of security patches.

Microsoft Office 2019 was launched September 24th, 2018.

Windows 10 version 22H2, released October 18, 2022, reaches end of service and the end of security patching, on May 14th, 2024.
UPDATE: Microsoft has announced that for Windows 10, 22H2 will be the last feature update, and security patches will end on the previously-announced end-of-life date for Windows 10. Both 22H2 and Windows 10 will reach the end of security patching Oct 14, 2025.
