End of extended support refers to the date when Microsoft no longer provides automatic fixes, updates, or online technical assistance. Without Microsoft support, you will no longer receive security updates that can help protect your PC from harmful viruses, spyware, and other malicious software that can steal your personal information.

Windows 10 version 22H2, released October 18, 2022, reaches end of service and the end of security patching, on
May 14th, 2024.
UPDATE: Microsoft has announced that for Windows 10, 22H2 will be the last feature update, and security patches will end on the previously-announced end-of-life date for Windows 10.
